
Dr. d'Arge has extensive experience consulting with a broad range of private and public sector clients on resource and environmental policies and is widely published in the field of resource and environmental economics. Dr. d'Arge was co-founder and served as the joint managing editor of the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management. He was the president of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists in 1981. He has testified in both state and federal courts in natural resource damages-related cases.
Dr. d'Arge has taught at Cornell University, the University of New Mexico and the University of California, at both the Riverside and Los Angeles campuses. He also has been a visiting scholar with Resources for the Future and the Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Institute in Italy.
He received a B.S. in economics from California State University, Chico, an M.S. in agricultural economics and statistics and an M.A. and a Ph.D., both in economics, from Cornell University.
