
For clients in other industries, Dr. Graves analyzes competitive position, future trends in industry cost structure, earnings and cash flow potential, product definition, pricing strategy and market response. He has appeared as an expert witness and worked closely with clients and their legal counsel to manage large, complex litigation matters. He has played a key role in engagements involving contract negotiation and dispute resolution.
Dr. Graves has also been active in PHB's international practice, serving European clients in engagements involving privatization, asset transfer, transmission pricing, power markets, pooling arrangements and least-cost planning, as well as reorganization and competitive analysis.
Dr. Graves holds a B.A. in mathematics and chemical engineering and an M.Ch.E., both from Rice University, as well as an M.S. in industrial administration and a Ph.D. in operations research from the Graduate School of Industrial Administration at Carnegie Mellon University.
