
Dr. Hogan has also served on the faculty of Stanford University, where he founded the Energy Modeling Forum. He has been a member of the board of directors of the Gas Research Institute; president of the International Association for Energy Economics; chairman of the Public Policy Program and director of the Energy and Environmental Policy Center at Harvard University; and deputy assistant administrator for the Federal Energy Administration. He also has served as an advisor on economic reform to the Cabinet of Ministers in Ukraine.
Dr. Hogan is involved in research concerning the development and application of energy and environmental policy models. His consulting activities include strategic planning, risk analysis, regulatory policy, privatization, pricing, energy modeling and energy market analysis.
Dr. Hogan received a B.S. from the U.S. Air Force Academy and an M.B.A. and a Ph.D. in operations research from the University of California, Los Angeles.
