
Dr. Neels has played a key role in the preparation of expert testimony in major legal and regulatory proceedings. He has testified as an expert on issues of antitrust market definition and measurement of damages. His work has shaped the outcomes of antitrust lawsuits, patent infringement disputes, commercial litigation and government regulatory proceedings.
Dr. Neels has assisted clients in a variety of industries, including commercial air carriers, travel agents, airline computerized reservation service providers, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, health care providers, petroleum producers and refiners and transportation equipment manufacturers.
Before joining PHB, Dr. Neels was vice president of health economics at Quintiles, Inc. Dr. Neels also worked with Charles River Associates, most recently as vice president in charge of that company's pharmaceutical consulting practice. He received a B.A. and a Ph.D., both from Cornell University.
