Charles Queenan's consulting work focuses on the economic analysis and strategic management of complex energy and environmental issues. Mr. Queenan's environmental management advice focuses on remediation and compliance strategy, cost management and waste minimization. He assists clients on environmental litigation matters, including insurance coverage disputes, cost recovery, clean-up cost allocation, natural resource damage claims and toxic torts. He has testified as an expert witness. He has also provided policy advice on issues such as Superfund reform, global climate change, PCB regulations, the cost of phasing out CFCs and radioactive waste disposal.
Mr. Queenan assists energy industry clients by providing economic analysis, expert testimony and case management support, with a particular focus on the petroleum industry. His work has included contract and antitrust litigation and evaluation of taxation and royalty issues. He has particular expertise in the areas of crude oil valuation, market dynamics, the impact of energy policies on the oil industry and refinery economics.
Mr. Queenan has taught and conducted research in chemical thermodynamics at the University of Aachen, Germany. He received an A.B. in chemistry and a B.E. and an M.E. in chemical engineering, all from Dartmouth College. He received an M.S. in industrial administration from Carnegie Mellon University.
